Pregnant, new to Australia, and vertically challenged, Katy Christie has a lot on her plate. So she’s putting on a show to distract her from the inevitable: that this baby’s got to come out somehow.
Perhaps in the show.
Now, that would get her noticed.
Katy’s hilarious new show featured at The Butterfly Club, Melbourne, for 3 shows only, from Thursday 7 December.
It featured Rainer Pollard on piano, Katy singing and, bladder permitting, dancing wrapped up in a sea of costume changes, sweat and desperation.
Never again will you see a seasoned, pregnant, ginger immigrant playing a French horn and various other breath-operated instruments.
An evening of eye watering disbelief, songs old and new, and a requirement for the front row patrons to bring a towel… you never know.
Days until show opens, according to everything Katy’s signed
Too late – you missed it. Sorry.
Days until baby arrives, according to science and Katy’s last hangover
